Eagle Life Assembly (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and through our mobile app, ExodusTV, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using eaglelifeassembly.org or the ExodusTV app you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

  • Contact & prayer requests — your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message when you use our contact form.
  • Newsletter — your email address when you subscribe to updates.
  • Giving — donations are processed by our payment partner (PayNow). We do not see or store your card, EcoCash PIN or bank credentials.

We do not knowingly collect information from children without the consent of a parent or guardian.

The ExodusTV Mobile App

Our mobile app, ExodusTV, offers sermons, worship music, live services, a Bible, membership and Family Fellowship features. Most content can be used without an account. If you sign in (with Google or an email sign-in link) and use member features, the app collects, with your consent and only as you provide it:

  • Account & profile — your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, physical address, profile photo, and church-membership details you choose to record (such as fellowship membership and water-baptism status).
  • Location — your device location (with your permission) to show Family Fellowships near you on the map, and the home location you choose to save for your fellowship.
  • Fellowship chat — text messages and voice notes you send to your fellowship group, visible to that group.
  • Photos, files & recordings — profile photos, payment-receipt photos and testimony attachments you choose to upload.
  • Giving history — records of donations, pledges and purchases you make through the app. Payments are processed by PayNow; we never see or store your card number, EcoCash PIN or bank credentials.
  • Diagnostics — anonymised crash reports and usage analytics (Google Firebase Crashlytics/Analytics) so we can fix problems. We do not use the advertising ID and the app contains no ads.

This data is stored securely in Google Firebase and is used only to run the app's features. We never sell or share your information with third parties for their own purposes.

Deleting your app account: you can delete your account and its personal data at any time, inside the app under Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or online at eaglelifeassembly.org/delete-account.html. Giving and payment records are retained for the church's financial record-keeping, as explained on that page.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiries and prayer requests.
  • To send you church news, sermons and event updates if you subscribed.
  • To improve our ministry and the way we serve our community.

We never sell or rent your information, and we only share it with trusted service providers (below) who help us run the website.

Where Your Information Is Stored

Form submissions and newsletter sign-ups are stored securely using Google Firebase, and contact messages are emailed to our church inbox at info@eaglelifeassembly.org. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics on this website to understand how visitors find and use our pages — for example which sermons and events are most viewed — so we can serve our community better. This gives us aggregated, anonymised page-view measurement only; we do not use it for advertising or ad personalisation, and it is not used to build marketing profiles about you.

Third-Party Services

Some pages use trusted third-party services that have their own privacy policies, including Google (Firebase, Analytics, Maps, Fonts), YouTube (video), and PayNow (giving). We are not responsible for the content or practices of external websites we link to.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use minimal browser storage — for example to remember your light/dark theme preference. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your Choices

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time, and you may request that we access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us.
